Thank you for bringing this article to attention, John. I found it so insightful and accurate. It speaks to what some folks who come to me for help are experiencing. Although they may not be consciously aware of it, they are struggling with their collapsed selves. Rather than take the courageous risk of expanding themselves and their lives, they present wanting tools and strategies to cope with their current situation. Expecting a person who is a beautiful living component of nature to collapse is like asking someone to fit a beautifully large round peg into a very tight square hole. We were born naturally expansive and rounded. We have learned to become small, angular and with sharp points and edges in order to perform, compete, achieve, and survive. That is not our natural state.
